REMEMBERING MOM

Speak of Me as you have alwyas done.
Remember the good times, laughter, and fun.

Share the happy memories we've made.

Do not let them wither or fade.

I'll be with you in the summer's sun

And when the winter's chill has come.

I'll be the voice that whisper's in the breeze.

I'm peaceful now, put your mind at ease.

I've rested my eyes and gone to sleep,

But memories we've shared are yours to keep.

Sometimes our final days may be a test,

But remember me when I was at my best.

Although things may not be the same,

Do not be afraid to use my name.

Let me sorrow last for just a while.

Comfort each other and try to smile.

I've lived a life filled with joy and fun.

Live on now, make me proud of what you'll become. ~ Anthony Dawson

It Is with Heartfelt sympathy that, we the staff of Serenity Memorial Funeral Home and Cremations, bow in humble submission to the Will of God and announce the earthly departure of Ms. Annie Doris McDuffie; 58, of 117 Ruskin Rd., Dudley, NC.

A Time to Be Born

Annie Doris McDuffie was born February 19th 1959 to the late Lester and Sallie McDuffie.

A Time to Learn

She attended North Duplin Jr/ Sr High School in Duplin County.

A Time to Live

She enjoyed being with her family and friends. She also enjoyed going to church and doing the things of God. One thing about her that we have an assurance in our heart is that she was saved, sanctified, Holy Ghost filled and fire baptized. So we know that Heaven is her new home.

A Time to Rest

Her time to rest came on Friday, July 14th, 2017. She got up for the first time in years and walked peacefully into the arms of Jesus.
